Architectural Sales Officer
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- Influence the building code writing or amendment, thru the respective technical working group of the code writing bodies, to include gypsum walls and ceiling systems as suitable alternatives for constructing wall and ceilings.
- Driving engagement of national developers and architects with differentiated products and services through dedicated planning and execution.
- Ensure a smooth project delivery by endorsing specification details to respective project sales officer to ensure full and timely specification conversions to meet product requirement and delivery timeline.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Bring value to key influencers and/ or stakeholders of the code writing technical working group with respect to Knauf’s core values and COBC. Influence the National building code writing to improve health and safety of the building occupants in terms of fire safety, indoor air quality, acoustics and the like
a. Building Design
- Knows and understands architectural and engineering building code parameters for all construction segments
- Knows construction codes governing new building construction and renovation
- Understands the architectural and engineering design principles
b. Code Writing
- Knows the process and flow of PH construction code writing
c. Testing Standards
- Knows and understands the principles and parameters of product and materials testing standards
d. Building Construction
- Knows and understands current PH construction methods and process
- Knows and understands the pros and cons of the construction methods
e. Gypsum Drywall and Ceiling Construction
- Understands principles of gypsum drywall and ceiling systems with respect to structural, acoustics, fire and environment
f. Planning and execution
- Capable to build strategy and actionable and measurable progress of tasks
g. Generate Specification
- Qualify pipeline and create architectural/developer pipeline opportunity
- Closing of specification works
- Find leads which includes but not limited to CRM (SFDC) and other third party market pipeline leads
h. Penetration
- Able to create access on assigned/ handled accounts
- Identify potential product – application opportunities on customers
- Able understand bottlenecks and propose a solution to clients
- Solution proposal needed by the customer
- Gain, defend and grow the business through product & service differentiation
i. Reporting
- Able to document action plans and execution on company CRM (SFDC)
- Account specifications progress of target opportunities
j. Event Management
- Conduct presentation, facilitate technical activities such as, site installation, mock up, events and technical trainings to customers
