HR & Admin Officer
1. Recruitment
- Lead and coordinate all stages of hiring process including job posting, reviewing and screening of applications, conducting interviews and character reference check, preparation of offer sheet and assist in the on boarding of new employees
- Develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved.
- Serves as a liaison with employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations.
2. Talent and Performance Management
- Lead the implementation of the Performance Management cycle ensuring full compliance.
- Supports managers and supervisors in Performance Management concerns of their teams.
- Monitors the implementation of a performance improvement process with non-performing employees.
- Supports succession planning process.
- Responsible for providing support and coordination on various projects and activities related to the performance management process.
3. Compensation and Benefits
- Assist in accurate preparation and submission of regular and third-party-employees daily time record and overtime application.
- Ensures accuracy and updated remittances of Government Mandated Benefits and loan applications of plant employees.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of Knauf Gypsum PH Benefits which includes but not limited to HMO and Group Life Insurance.
4. Learning and Development
- Works closely with the people managers and department heads to identify training needs and areas for improvement of the employee/s.
- Matches possible training or development programs with the learning needs and facilitate the implementation of that in partnership with managers and employees.
- Perform tasks such as monitoring costs, scheduling programs, preparing the materials and coordinating registration.
5. Employee Relations
- Conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind resignations and addresses valid issues.
- Ensures employee concerns are listened to, investigated and addressed together with them and their managers.
- Manage dispute resolutions involving management, employees or government agencies, etc.
- Determines and recommends employee relations practices, policies and processes necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale, motivation and engagement.
6. Organization Development
- Support in the development of programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the employees with the strategic goals of the company.
7. Policies and Processes
- Develop, update and implement policies and processes.
- Ensures that all employees understand, have buy-in to and are compliant to the policies.
8. Compliance and Legal
- Ensures all HR-related agreements are compliant to Local Labor Laws.
- Ensures all Knauf employees are trained and compliant to the Code of Conduct and online compliance trainings.
9. Budget Management
- Ensures all expenses related to trainings are well managed.
10. Administrative Task
- Assist to manage office administration work including but not limited to security system, office supplies, fax & telephone systems, messenger services, housekeeping, gardening, canteen, mail distribution, copy services, equipment and inventory
- Purchase stationeries, name card, computer, and other furniture for Batangas Plant as requested by supervisor
- Coordinate with QC office on air ticket, including travel insurance, visa, transportation booking for employees travelling aboard
- Prepare document, and contact courier company
- Handle all other administrative works
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
