Area Sales Manager
The Area Sales Manager will lead a territory and mentor the field sales team who aims to deliver the business targets of the assigned geographical area. With a focus on territory development, the ASM drives profitable sales growth managing new opportunities & maintaining existing ones.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Team Development - Managing, training, coaching, and providing overall guidance to the sales team of an assigned territory.
- Demand Forecasting - Provides an accurate, timely, and detailed forecast of demand within the assigned territory according to market/ competitor movements, channel inventory & project pipeline.
- Pipeline Development (Construction) - Building up a strong pipeline and ensuring accurate sales forecasting and account planning. Promote usage of CRM tool to properly track opportunities, generate insightful sales reports and prioritize sales team activities.
- Territory Plans & Channel to Market - Keep territory factbooks up to date aiding territory plans and agile execution of activities. Define ideal channel to market design enhancing brand's competitive advantage
- Sales Targets & Strategies - Deliver sales targets through disciplined execution of developed sales strategies. Sets and monitors lead and lag indicators of team members.
- Customer Database Management - Maintain a complete & up-to-date list of prospects & existing customers' contact details.
